SummerSkills Math Review Books

Every spring, AB PIP sells SummerSkills Math Books. These books are refreshers to help your children review math skills over the summer. SummerSkills Order Form When you buy SummerSkills Review Books through AB PIP, you get a discount price of $18 per book; you save $2 and PIP receives $1 per book. Product Details: Summer Math Skills Sharpener is a series of 13 separate books (grades K-12) that review math concepts learned in the just completed school year. Consult your child's teacher if you have concerns about appropriate skill level, but generally, you order "Grade 1" if your child just completed grade 1. The books are compatible with any school curriculum to prepare students for the next level. Find out about the Summer Skills series including a grade-level overview and sample pages.

Customer Reviews: Local educators and tutors continue to identify the SummerSkills Sharpeners as a valuable resource to reinforce skills during the summer. Many families have found SummerSkills books fun and useful tools for summer math practice. SummerSkills Sharpeners are based on the National Curriculum Standards and are not designed to supplement any specific math curriculum.

Entertainment Coupon Books

Every fall, AB PIP sells the popular Entertainment Coupon Books to raise money for PIP community math and science activities (Market Math, Star Party, annual PIP ABRHS Scholarship, our STEM Book club and more). Entertainment books contain hundreds of dollars in valuable coupons and special local offers for restaurants, travel and recreation and more! (This year's book contains 2 for 1 local dining at Monsoon Indian Bistro and Vincenzo's Restaurant, Kimball's Farm golf, Regal and AMC movie coupons (redeem at box office), 2 for 1 museum discounts, Acton Ace Hardware, Subway, Acton Bowladrome plus many other discounts!). Entertainment books make great holiday gifts.

Community Skate Fundraiser

family skate Thanks to all you participated in the 13th Annual Community Skate "Fun"draiser. We enjoyed Ice Skating, Music, and Great Food while donating to worthy causes on Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 2pm to 4pm at Nashoba Valley Olympia (rink #3), Route 111 (34 Massachusetts Avenue, Boxborough, MA. AB PIP (Parent Involvement Project) STEM, the Community Alliance for Youth (CAFY), the Herther-Kappel, Jacobsohn and Mosher families and friends thank you for attending our Annual Ice Skating party and community fundraiser. ALL proceeds support the following Acton-Boxborough area causes and enrichment: Acton Area Food Pantries (Community Supper, Loaves and Fishes, and Open Table), new PIP STEM LEGO kits, Eco activities, and Teen Wellness programs.
